Prop Concept Art 1

I’m no expert but I think there may be a discrepancy between the firing rate of those two weapons.

I am nearing completion of the pirate ship, with only a few areas remaining and each requiring careful planning to execute properly. Because of this I may be setting the ship aside for a few weeks while those details are ironed out in the concept phase, but in the meantime I thought it would be fun to show one of the thousands of props on the ship. Like the crane on the main deck, this gun was added by the real pirates after the ship was stolen from the pirate-themed day cruise company.

These are just OpenGL viewport renders, as the lighting inside the ship will not be completed until after all the modeling is done there.

That’s a great picture of the cannon and the mini gun next to each other. I had a good laugh about that.

    Awesome!
Ever think of making an old fashioned pirate battle where one side cheats at the end?

The pirate battle sounds like it would be a lot of fun. I’m not really planning on distracting myself with something like that, but when the comic is finished anything is possible.
